Comrie, who made his NHL debut against the Columbus Blue Jackets on April 6, is 8-4-1 with a .927 save percentage in 13 games with Manitoba of the American Hockey League. He was recalled Nov. 27 after goaltender Steve Mason sustained a concussion against the San Jose Sharks.
The Jets, who are coming off a 5-1 loss against the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday, will be looking to avoid consecutive regulation losses for the first time since the first two games of the season.
Florida will be looking to end a three-game losing streak (0-1-2). James Reimer will start in goal in place of Roberto Luongo, who will be for an extended period of time because of a lower-body injury sustained during a 5-4 shootout loss against the New York Islanders on Monday.

Players to watch

Jets forward Blake Wheeler has eight points (one goal, seven assists) during a three-game point streak. He leads the NHL with 29 assists.
Panthers forward Aleksander Barkov has four goals in the past five games.
