Player to watch for goal, shots on goal and/or point: Dylan Holloway, F, STL (at CGY; 9:30 p.m. ET; TVAS, SN1, FDSNMW)

The St. Louis Blues forward has points in six of his past seven games totaling nine points (three goals, six assists) and 21 shots on goal over that span. Holloway, who leads the Blues with 13 points (six goals, seven assists) in 10 games since returning from the break for the 2026 Winter Olympics, is playing on the first line with Robert Thomas and Jimmy Snuggerud, as well as the team's top power-play unit with Thomas, Snuggerud, Pavel Buchnevich and Philip Broberg. The Blues are 6-1-1 in March, tied for the second most wins and third most points (13) among all teams this month. Despite missing 23 games due to injury, Holloway leads St. Louis in three-point games (three) and is tied with Snuggerud for the most games with at least five shots on goal (six). Per NHL EDGE stats, Holloway ranks among the forward leaders in hardest shot (93.05 mph; 93rd percentile), average skating distance per 60 minutes (10.14 miles; 91st percentile) and midrange goals (eight; 90th percentile). The Calgary Flames are winless in eight of their past 10 games (2-7-1) while allowing the second-most goals per game (4.10) and third-most shots on goal per game (31.6) over that span. -- Troy Perlowitz

The Anaheim Ducks wing is having a breakout season and ranks among the NHL leaders in goals (34; tied for 11th in NHL), even-strength goals (26; tied for sixth) and shots on goal (246; third). Gauthier leads the Ducks in goals, points (59 in 66 games), even-strength goals, even-strength points (44), power-play goals (eight), power-play points (15) and shots on goal this season and could get a further boost from having puck-moving defenseman John Carlson (acquired from Washington Capitals prior to NHL Trade Deadline) on the first power-play unit. Per NHL EDGE stats, Gauthier ranks in the 99th percentile among forwards in hardest shot (99.90 mph; third at position), midrange goals (17; tied for third in League), midrange shots on goal (101; third in League) and long-range SOG (30; eighth among forwards). Gauthier faces the Philadelphia Flyers, the team that drafted him (No. 5 pick in 2022 NHL Draft); he scored a goal on three shots on goal against the Flyers on Jan. 6. -- Pete Jensen
