They said it

"All year, we've been the stingy defensive team and we've found a way to score some goals throughout the year. But sometimes, this time of the year, it gets a little bit harder, and we've had games where we haven't been able to get anything. It's important to really focus on getting some shots and getting some of those dirty goals, rebounds and stuff." -- Islanders defenseman Ryan Pulock
"Our compete level could be a little higher than it was. I don't know if it was coming off an emotional game against Nashville and sometimes it's hard to get right back at it. But tonight, this team is still fighting for position in the standings to make the playoffs so we're going to get their best. We need to be ready for that." -- Jets forward Mathieu Perreault
