Vegas, which has won of 11 of its past 15, has not lost at home since Nov. 16, 4-1 to the St. Louis Blues.
Alex Tuch will move to the first line with William Karlsson and Jonathan Marchessault, moving Reilly Smith to the second line. It's the first time Vegas' top line will not start together when healthy since debuting Oct. 24, 2017 against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Tomas Tatar will play at Vegas for the first time since the forward was traded to Montreal for forward Max Pacioretty on Sept. 10. Vegas acquired Tatar in a trade with the Detroit Red Wings on Feb. 26. He scored six points (four goals, two assists) in 20 regular-season games, and two points (one goal, one assist) in eight Stanley Cup Playoff games for Vegas.
Montreal has won six of its past nine. Carey Price, who is 6-2-0 in his past nine games with a 2.32 goals-against average, is expected to start.
