The Minnesota Wild selected Tuch, a big, talented forward, in the first round (No. 18) of the 2014 NHL Draft, but the Vegas Golden Knights have reaped the rewards after acquiring him in a trade at the 2017 NHL Draft.
He spent two seasons playing at Boston College, helping BC advance to the Frozen Four in 2016, before signing a three-year, entry-level contract with the Wild on April 13, 2016.

Tuch spent most of the 2016-17 season with Iowa of the American Hockey League, but did get a six-game call-up from the Wild. However, he was traded to the Golden Knights at the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft, along with a conditional third-round draft pick, for selecting Erik Haula.
The 6-foot-4 forward began to blossom with Vegas, finishing with 37 points (15 goals, 22 assists). Tuch also scored six goals and finished with 10 points in 20 Stanley Cup Playoff games, helping the first-year Golden Knights advance to the Cup Final.
He followed up his strong playoff showing with NHL career highs in goals (20), assists (32) and points (52) in 2018-19.
