Projected Lineup: Hurricanes at Kings

Staal to play in 900th career NHL game

by Michael Smith @MSmithCanes / CarolinaHurricanes.com

LOS ANGELES - The Carolina Hurricanes are going going, back back, to Cali Cali, where they begin a three-game trip through the Golden State with a Tuesday night match-up against the Los Angeles Kings.

Forwards Andrei Svechnikov and Ryan Dzingel didn't take part in the Hurricanes' morning skate, but both will be in the lineup tonight.

"There's no point in throwing guys out there in the morning skate. We want to make sure they're ready for tonight," head coach Rod Brind'Amour said. "Sitting on a plane for seven hours does that to you, I guess."
