MONTREAL -Antti Raanta appears to be in line to make his return from injury tonight, backstopping the Carolina Hurricanes against the Montreal Canadiens.

The veteran netminder suffered a lower-body issue on March 7 in the very same building he'll be playing in this evening.
Carolina went on to win that game in a shootout
thanks to Jesperi Kotkaniemi, with Frederik Andersen having to come in in relief.
Now, 25 days later, Raanta will look to improve upon his 7-1 all-time record against Montreal.
He also enters tonight with the team having earned at least one point in the standings in his last 15 decisions. 13-0-2 (plus two no-decisions) since November 17, the 33-year-old is 16-2-3 with three shutouts on the season as a whole.
In front of Raanta, the team could have another new look at forward tonight after the position group did not produce a goal Thursday in Detroit.
With the pair of goals both coming from defensemen, the team had another new trio of combinations at morning skate, listed below. Teuvo Teravainen is expected to be available tonight after missing the team's most recent game due to an illness.
