11.30.21 Morrow

RALEIGH, NC. -USA Hockey announced its World Junior preliminary roster Tuesday, including Carolina Hurricanes 2021 draft pick Scott Morrow.

The 19-year-old caught the attention of the United States team brass after beginning his freshman year at UMass with 11 points in 12 games. That mark currently places him tied for second among all Hockey East defensemen, where he is tied with fellow Canes prospect Domenick Fensore of Boston College.
His four goals in conference play lead all Hockey East defensemen and he was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week on November 2, where he was in the midst of a three-game goal streak.

Morrow recorded his first career collegiate goal on the power play in overtime against Merrimack, also capping his first career multi-point game.
