After challenging them just three days ago, the Nashville Predators will face the Detroit Red Wings again as the two teams complete their season series (at 6:30 p.m. CT).
Nashville (35-14-9) ended a two-game losing skid and opened their seventh set of back-to-back games with a victory when they powered past the Ottawa Senators, 5-2, on home ice on Monday. The Preds will now play the Red Wings to complete two games in two nights; Detroit claimed a 3-1 win in Nashville on Saturday.
The Red Wings (24-25-9) dropped the game bookended by their two versus the Predators, falling 3-2 to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday.
The Predators did not hold a morning skate on Tuesday after playing the night before. Below is a projected lineup based on Monday's game:
