The Predators and the Stars will square off again on Thursday night at Bridgestone Arena (at 7 p.m. CT).
Nashville (19-17-1) won their sixth game in a row on Tuesday when Eeli Tolvanen's backhander in overtime delivered a 3-2 victory over Dallas. Tolvanen has a six-game point streak to coincide with the Preds' winning streak.
The Predators received updates on Wednesday about their six injured players. Mark Borowiecki, Matt Duchene, Ryan Ellis, Filip Forsberg, Brad Richardson and Luca Sbisa are all week-to-week in their respective recovery timelines. Boroweicki last played on March 11, Duchene's last game was on March 4, Forsberg's most recent game was March 25, Richardson and Sbisa have been out since March 9 and Jan. 24, respectively.
The Stars (11-12-10) have dropped three games in a row and are seven points back of Nashville with four games in hand.
Update: Preds forward Mathieu Olivier has been recalled from the taxi squad. Defenseman Tyler Lewington has been recalled to the taxi squad from Chicago (AHL), and defenseman Frederic Allard has been reassigned to Chicago (AHL).
