Preds Introduce New Food, Drink Items Ahead of 2026-27 Season; Latest Bridgestone Arena Renderings Also Unveiled

We say it every year - if you’re coming to Bridgestone Arena for a Preds game this season, come hungry. 

The 2026-27 season will be no different, and after last week’s tasting of new food and drink offerings being rolled out across the venue, it’s easy to see why that sentiment holds true once more. 

And yes, the appetizers and the entrees are worth mentioning, but the two showstoppers come in the form of a drink and a dessert. 

First, Bridgestone Arena is now offering a vessel shaped like a sabertooth and simply called “The Fang,” which will be offered to hold your favorite frozen alcoholic beverage and comes complete with a lanyard for easy transporting and containment.

Fans can find The Fang - which is sure to be a hit throughout the season - at the newly-branded TennPop bar located outside of Section 104 on the Arena’s main concourse. 

You may also want to have dessert before your meal with the return of soft serve by Mister Softee to the Arena. Available in vanilla, chocolate or swirl with an option to be served in a cone, cup or mini Preds goalie helmet, fans of all ages will be clamoring for this classic treat, which can be found on the main concourse inside the Nissan Atrium.

Once it’s time for something heartier, the new Sausagery stand, located in the main food court near Section 104, will offer footlong bacon-wrapped hot dogs, spicy and sweet Italian sausage, bratwurst and more, as well as a rotating special sauce every month.

The Banjo Hot Chicken Stand at Section 109 will offer a new Loaded Banjo Hot Fry baked and a Funnel Cake Fry basket, with garlic fries and loaded cheese curd fries - like a traditional poutine with cheese curds and brown gravy - also available this season. Plus, the Walking Taco Stand on the 100 Level has a new Birria Boom Box Nacho that’s enough to feed the whole family. 

The menu at the BetMGM Sports Lounge inside Bridgestone Arena has been revamped and includes offerings like braised beef nachos, southwestern egg rolls, chicken quesadillas, a French dip sandwich, a cuban sandwich and buffalo chicken cheesy breadsticks, just to name a few. 

While there’s plenty of eats to enjoy in the near term, there is also much for fans to look forward to in the years ahead. 

The Predators also recently unveiled new renderings of their Smashville's Next Stage: Broadway 2030 renovation project with fresh ideas of what Bridgestone Arena will begin to look like in the years ahead.

For the next three summers, beginning in June 2027, the Arena will go dark as crews work around the clock to renovate and upgrade the home of the Preds.The renovation will be completed in phases so games can continue without interruption with a goal of having the majority of the work being completed by the 2029-30 season.

In recent months, the Predators have already made upgrades around the building, most notably the addition of escalators at the Nissan SoBro entrance of the Arena that allow access to all four levels of the building. 

Additionally, the Preds are renovating and upgrading the team’s practice facility at Centennial Sportsplex with work already underway. The venue will expand from its current 9,000 square feet to approximately 46,000 square feet with new amenities like a full kitchen and nutrition upgrades, advanced hydrotherapy rooms and expanded locker room facilities expected to be ready for training camp in 2027.

Couple that with the excitement of new management on the hockey operations side of the organization and a number of new players set to take the ice on Opening Night, and there’s plenty of reason for excitement with a new hockey season on the horizon.
