Predators Reassign Cole Smith to Milwaukee

Nashville Also Activates Forward Nick Cousins from Injured Reserve

Nashville, Tenn. (November 20, 2021) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the team has reassigned forward Cole Smith to Milwaukee (AHL). Additionally, the team has activated forward Nick Cousins from injured reserve.

Cousins, 28 (6/20/93), has missed Nashville's last four games with an upper-body injury after being placed on IR on Nov. 7. Now in his second season with the Predators, the Belleville, Ont., native has three points (1g-2a) in 12 games after posting 18 points (5g-13a) in 52 games in 2020-21.
The Predators take on the Montreal Canadiens tonight at the Bell Centre with puck drop scheduled for 6 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast live on Bally Sports South and ESPN 102.5 The Game. Coverage on ESPN 102.5 The Game begins at 5 p.m. CT, while Predators LIVE on Bally Sports South follows at 5:30 p.m. CT.
