Draft Weekend

The 2018 NHL draft is upon us! Round 1 of the Draft will begin tonight at 7:30 P.M. at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The Panthers will pick 15th. Fans can tune in to NBC Sports Network or live stream on the NBC Sports app and NBC Sports.com. It can also be live-streamed on fuboTV.
The Panthers will own four selections (170th, 201st and 207th) during the second day of the draft. Fans can watch these rounds on NHL Network beginning at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, June 23rd.
To get a little dose of home, be sure to catch Panthers broadcasters Doug Plagens and Randy Moller on 560 WQAM on Friday from 7-9 P.M. and Saturday from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.

Hoffman Heads South

Earlier this week, the Panthers bolstered their top six forward group and acquired Mike Hoffman and a 2018 seventh round pick from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for Florida's 2019 second round pick, 2018 fourth round pick and 2018 5th round pick.
Hoffman, 28, appeared in all 82 of the Ottawa Senators regular season games in 2017-18, registering 56 points (22-34-56). The 6-foot, 181-pound native of Kitchener, Ontario, has produced 20-plus goals in each of his last four seasons, including a career-high 29 goals in 2015-16.
Over 342 career regular season NHL games with Ottawa (2011-12 to 2017-18), Hoffman has amassed 230 points (107-123-230) and has notched 14 points (7-7-14) over 25 career Stanley Cup Playoff games. 2018-19

Season Schedule

The 2018-19 schedule has been announced! This season proves to be a special one in Sunrise, as it is the 25th Anniversary of the Florida Panthers.
The Panthers open their 25th anniversary season on the road against their intra-state rivals, the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday, Oct. 6, before hosting the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 7 P.M. for their home opener at BB&T Center.
The Panthers will play a total of 82 regular season games with 40 games played at BB&T Center.
The schedule is highlighted by 14 Saturday home games, five Sunday home games and two international games as part of the NHL Global Series against the Winnipeg Jets on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 in Helsinki, Finland.
The Panthers regular season finale is set for Saturday, April 6 against the New Jersey Devils.

Development Camp

The Panthers annual development camp will take place from Tuesday, June 26 to Friday, June 29 at the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs, Fla. All practices during development camp are free and open to the public.
