Project Overview
The Florida Panthers and Amazon are proud to present an artist showcase that celebrates the cross section of vibrant of South Florida landscape and the Florida Panthers Hockey Club. This program invites local artists to create original pieces that highlight the unique intersection between our region’s rich cultural and natural landscapes that make South Florida a destination and the dynamic identity of the championship culture of the Florida Panthers.
Objective
To curate an uplifting and visually striking art exhibition that captures the heart of South Florida—its color, rhythm, diversity, and natural beauty—while authentically representing the Florida Panthers. This collection will be featured on the walls of the Finally Suite Level of the Amerant Bank Arena, offering guests an immersive cultural experience that goes beyond the game and shows inside those walls. Selected artists may list their artwork for sale while on display for patrons of Amerant Bank Arena to purchase with 100% of the proceeds going to the artist.
Creative Direction
Art should reflect a positive, energetic, and inspired vision of life in South Florida blended with elements of the Florida Panthers brand—think community pride, nature, sawgrass to beaches, history, grit, and sport.
Artists are encouraged to explore how hockey and South Florida coexist and influence each other in unexpected and beautiful ways.
The Panthers brand can be expressed through abstract representation, color, movement, or literal references (team spirit, energy, players in action, etc.).
All mediums are welcome (painting, photography, mixed media, digital, etc.) as long as works can be wall-mounted.
Submission Guidelines
Size Limit: Art piece(s) must be a minimum of 11" x 14". Maximum size is 48" x 72" (portrait or landscape orientation accepted). Works on the larger end of the scale tend to read best in the suite environment and are encouraged, though strong submissions of all sizes will be considered.
Presentation Best Practices: All artwork should be ready to hang and presented in its best possible form. We strongly encourage framing for all works, including gallery-wrapped canvases. A proper frame significantly enhances the presentation of artwork in the suite-level environment. Unframed gallery-wrapped canvases will be accepted, but framed works are preferred.
Original Work Only: No reproductions, AI-generated pieces, or previously shown works.
Brand Integrity: Please avoid the use of other brands’ logos, IP, or likenesses (e.g., NHL trademarks, opposing teams, or other companies).
Tone: Uplifting, bold, creative
Target Audience
Suite-level guests including business leaders, community partners, and long-time fans—people who appreciate both fine art, music and the game of hockey.
