The 'Heroes Among Us' has been a beloved program of the Florida Panthers Foundation since its inception in 2013. The program gives the South Florida community the opportunity to nominate and honor someone who has served or is currently serving in any branch of the United States military.
Since the inception of the 'Heroes Among Us' program, the Florida Panthers have honored over 400 members of the Military including over 100 WWII veterans, over 35 Vietnam War veterans and over 15 Korean War veterans to date.
During each Florida Panthers home game at Amerant Bank Arena this season, a serviceman or woman will be honored as a "Hero Among Us" for their service and dedication to our country. Each hero and their family will receive four (4) tickets to the game they are being honored at, as well as special recognition on the ice during the National Anthem and a TV timeout.
All nominations will need to go through a verification process to verify that they have been honorably discharged, and must provide proper documentation.*
