Playoff Media Policies

Credential application for postseason credentials will open prior to May 1. Credential application must be submitted by the outlet editor or manager. Credentials will be issued to working media only. No complimentary media tickets will be issued for the 2022 postseason at FLA Live Arena. Credentialing will done on a round by round basis and a single game basis.

The 2022 Florida Panthers postseason media guide will be available for download. Our pressbox will be paperless.

Parking will be provided for ALL working media. A location will be assigned by a member of the Florida Panthers PR staff.

Please note that the home team and visiting team will have a press conference space available for the duration of the round.*

*One-on-one interview requests during the postseason should be requested as far in advance of a scheduled media availability as possible and are not guaranteed.

Full Media Policies

GAMEDAY MATERIALS - GAMEDAY MEDIA KIT - NEW FOR THIS YEAR

Beginning with the 2021-22 Season, all game notes and statistics pertaining to the upcoming games will be available digitally prior to and during each game. Digital statistics will be available after the game. The digital Panthers Gameday Media Kit will be available at FloridaPanthers.com/Gameday. The media kit will include daily game notes, stats as well as lineup sheets prior to puck drop.

VACCINATION STATUS

For the 2021-22 NHL Season, all media working at FLA Live Arena on game days, practice days and morning skates in any capacity will be required to be fully vaccinated. Media will be asked to submit this form to verify vaccination prior to entry and to show their proof of vaccination at the time of credential pick up.

All media personnel in Club spaces that may be occupied by Players (e.g., event level, locker rooms, press conference areas, bench areas, etc.) are required to: (i) be Fully Vaccinated; (ii) be masked at all times while in such areas; and, iii) maintain physical distancing of at least six (6) feet from Players and Coaches.

Masks are encouraged but not required for the press box, press viewing areas and press lounge.

WORKING MEDIA CREDENTIALS

Season Media Credentials will be issued for actively working media at a verified outlet only.

Single-game credentials will be granted to NHL accredited media or media with an approved independent outlet on a game-by-game, project-by-project basis. All credentials are issued at the discretion of the Florida Panthers Hockey Club. Freelance writers and photographers requesting a single game credential must provide a written verification of assignment by the publication's editor or a description of their intended nightly project.

There will be three types of game credentials - two types for those individuals working in press box (working press & radio/TV as well as visiting team official) and one for those individuals taking both still and video shots will not have press box access (photo/tech & camera operators.)

Press Box access is restricted to credentialed working media members only. Family and friends are not allowed into the press box or press lounge at any time.

PHOTOGRAPHY PASS HOLDERS

Credentialed still photographers will shoot from section 117 & from the holes in the glass. Specific shooting locations will be assigned on a season or nightly basis. Credential applications can be submitted at FloridaPanthers.com/Credentials. Shooting areas outside of the assigned position without permission of the PR staff can result in a change in credentialed status.

RIGHTSHOLDER PASS HOLDERS

Rightsholder passes will be issues to team rightsholders for game day media operations.

Please note that in-game video positions for club staff and rightsholders must be requested and approved by Panthers PR staff at least 24 hours prior to puck drop.

PANTHERS VIDEO SHARE

Credentialed media will have access to the daily drop on Panthers Video Share. This is available at FloridaPanthers.com/pressbox. The video share will include b-roll from Panthers practices, games, community events and more as well as interview recordings with players, coaches and management staff. Please attribute Panthers Vision when using this footage in media coverage or attributing interviews viewed and used from the share.

PRESS ENTRANCE

On game days, the press entrance is located at the northwest corner of the FLA Live Arena, just to the left of the arena's loading docks. It will open an hour and a half before the start of each game & close 30 minutes after the game begins.

Please use the Dex Imaging VIP entrance when attending Panthers practices, morning skates and media events at the FLA Live Arena. Press credentials or prior RSVP will be required for building entry.

PRESS BOX ACCESS

To access the Press Box, please exit the Press Lounge at the same door you entered and proceed approximately 40 yards to the press express elevator, which will be on the right. Take the press express elevator to the Sky View Level, which will open directly into the Press Box. Credential will be required to enter press level - no exceptions.

PLAYER INTERVIEW ACCESS

Credentialed media will have access to both digital (Zoom) and in person interviews in approved media locations throughout the duration of the 2021-22 season. Masks are required at all times when conducting any form of in person player access media.

Approximately 10 minutes following the conclusion of each NHL game, the Panthers will make a representative number of key Players and the Head Coach available for interviews.

MEDIA PARKING

Parking is available for all credentialed media at Panthers home games at FLA Live Arena.

'Hill Lot' season passes will be issued to media.

'Media Production Lot' parking will be granted on an RSVP basis. To access- media will need to give their name to a parking attendant at entrance of the lot. This lot is located in a fenced-in lot at the northwest corner of FLA Live Arena, near the press entrance.

PRESS MEALS

Upon receiving your credential from a Panthers communications representative at the press will-call, each member of the media may proceed to the Press Lounge. Meals may be purchased after signing in with Press Room food service individuals.

INTERNATIONAL MEDIA ACCESS

To receive credential access for international outlets or groups covering the NHL for the first time, please first contact Dave Keon at dkeon@nhl.com for prior approval.

 

Failure to comply with any of the above regulations can result in a change of credentialed status.

Assumption of Risk

You must follow all arena policies, including health and safety policies, and posted instructions while in the arena and on arena grounds.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the centers for disease control and prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By entering the arena and arena grounds, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
