Media Credentials will be issued for working members of the media only. Non-working media members, media member's family members and friends will not be allowed into the press box or press lounge.

Single-game credentials will be granted to NHL accredited media with a written request submitted no later than 24 hours prior to game time. All credentials are issued at the discretion of the Florida Panthers Hockey Club. Freelance writers and photographers requesting a single game credential must provide a written verification of assignment by the publication's editor or a description of their intended nightly project.

There will be three types of game credentials - two types for those individuals working in press box (working press & radio/TV as well as visiting team official) and one for those individuals taking both still and video shots will not have press box access (photo/tech & camera operators.)

The press entrance is located at the northwest corner of the BB&T Center, just to the left of the arena's loading docks. It will open an hour and a half before the start of each game & close 30 minutes after the game begins. Please use the press entrance or the security entrance when attending Panthers practices, morning skates and media events at the BB&T Center. Press credentials or prior RSVP will be required for building entry.

Please be advised that in compliance with National Hockey League (NHL) policies, guest's bags, equipment and other items brought in through the press entrance will be subject to X-ray screening.


To access the Press Box, please exit the Press Lounge at the same door you entered and proceed approximately 40 yards to the press express elevator, which will be on the right. Take the press express elevator to the Sky View Level, which will open directly into the Press Box.


From the Press Lounge: Proceed out the back door of the Press Room & take an immediate left. Follow the corridor until you reach the marked locker room doors or the post-game interview room - approximately 30 yards on the right.

From the Press Box: Upon departing the press express elevator on the event level, proceed to the right & follow the corridor until you reach the locker rooms - approximately 15 yards past the security booth. Dressing room access will only be granted to media members with the appropriate credentials.


Working press members will be assigned a seat in the Press Box, which you can access at the Sky View Level off of the press express elevators. Seating charts are posted throughout the Press Box on game nights. Working press members are asked to remain in media dedicated areas unless escorted by a member of the Panthers Public Relations staff.


Still photographers will shoot from section 117 & from the holes in the glass. Team photographer Eliot Schechter will assign photo locations on a nightly basis.


Panthers PR will provide hard copies of game notes, NHL statistics and miscellaneous Panthers statistics to the media. Via email media members will be provided with PDF versions of Panthers media clips and pregame notes. The Panthers can offer a limited number of parking spaces available to the media on a seasonal basis that will be located in a fenced-in lot at the northwest corner of the BB&T Center, near the press entrance. Please submit any requests for parking 24 hours prior to game to Thomas Harding at The club will have a very limited number of game-by-game parking passes available and they will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.


Upon receiving your credential from a Panthers communications representative at the press will-call, each member of the media may proceed to the Press Lounge. Meals may be purchased after signing in with Press Room food service individuals.
