The Stars, 0-5-2 in their past seven games, have equaled their longest losing streak in 24 seasons in Dallas. They lost 10 in a row from Feb. 1-20, 1976 when they were the Minnesota North Stars.
Dallas is five points behind the St. Louis Blues for the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Western Conference.
The Canucks, 1-8-0 in their past nine games, are playing the finale of a four-game road trip. They defeated the Stars 6-0 on Feb. 11 and are 1-0-1 against them this season. Vancouver was eliminated from playoff contention March 14.

Players to watch

Canucks forward Daniel Sedin will play in his 1,300th NHL game. Sedin has 42 points (15 goals, 27 assists) in 55 games against Dallas.
Stars forward Tyler Seguin has 20 points (10 goals, 10 assists) in his past 15 games. He needs one goal for his first 40-goal season in the NHL and is two points shy of 500 in the League.
