Not many players can say they've played for four teams in the same season, but Jokinen is one who can.
The trade that sent Jokinen from the Columbus Blue Jackets on Feb. 26, 2018, capped a season that saw him play 14 games for the Edmonton Oilers, 18 for the Los Angeles Kings and 14 for the Blue Jackets.

The native of Kalajoki, Finland, was one of the early stars of the shootout. As a rookie with the Dallas Stars in 2005-06, he scored on his first nine shootout attempts and 10 of his first 13.
A smart, polished forward capable of winning a faceoff and playing on either side of center, Jokinen was a sixth-round draft pick (No. 192) by the Stars at the 2001 NHL Draft. He was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Feb. 26, 2008 and was traded again less than a year later to the Carolina Hurricanes, ranking second on the team with seven playoff goals in 2008-09.
One season later, Jokinen led the Hurricanes with 30 goals and was second in points with 65 while also tying for 10th in the League with six game-winning goals.
Jokinen was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins late in the 2012-13 season, and in the summer of 2014 he signed with the Florida Panthers. He spent three seasons with the Panthers before being signed as a free agent by the Oilers on July 7, 2018.
