Feb. 22, 2020: Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Nashville Predators

Colton Sissons has established himself as an integral part of the Predators forward corps over the past few seasons, and he'll continue to do so in 2020-21.
After being drafted by the Preds in 2012, Sissons became a full-time NHLer during the 2016-17 season, as he helped his club reach the Stanley Cup Final that spring.

The 27-year-old centerman skated in his sixth NHL season with the Predators in 2019-20, posting nine goals and 15 points in 57 games. He hit the 15-point mark for the third consecutive campaign and won 51.3 percent of his faceoffs, the fourth-best mark on the team.
Sissons is a key penalty killer for Nashville and is often relied upon for important faceoffs in his own end. He may not wear a letter on his jersey, but Sissons is also regarded as a leader for the Preds and is well-respected in his own room and across the League.
By the Numbers:
- Sissons has skated in 322 career NHL games - all with Nashville - since making his League debut during the 2013-14 season. He owns 20 points (9g-11a), the 14th-most in Predators history, in 55 career Stanley Cup Playoff contests.
- He has notched two career regular-season hat tricks, the first of which came on Jan. 5, 2017, against Tampa Bay that made him the first player in NHL history to score at least three goals in a game with his second being an empty-netter and his third being scored on a goalie.
- Sissons played for current Predators Assistant Coach Dan Lambert with the WHL's Kelowna Rockets from 2010-13, serving as captain for his final two seasons.
Fun Fact:
- Sissons recorded the second hat trick in Nashville postseason history in Game 6 of the 2017 Western Conference Final, helping send the Predators to their first Stanley Cup Final. He became the first player to notch a hat trick in a series-clinching win in the conference finals since 2013.
