The Golden Knights also hope to extend their home point streak to 13 games. They have not lost at T-Mobile Arena in regulation since the Dallas Stars defeated them 3-0 on Nov. 28.
The Islanders have lost three of four and eight of their past 12. They trail the Pittsburgh Penguins by two points for the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Eastern Conference.

Islanders rookie forward Mathew Barzal has 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) in his past seven games. He hasn't scored a goal since Jan. 15.
Golden Knights forward William Karlsson has scored 10 goals since Dec. 31 and has five points (four goals, assist) in his past four games.
