The New York Islanders are 2-0-0 on their nine-game trip. They are 9-13-4 on the road; 8-7-3 in their past 18 away games. Coach Doug Weight said Saturday he will dress the same lineup that defeated the Montreal Canadiens 3-0 on Thursday, meaning that forward Shane Prince, who has been out six games with an upper-body injury but practiced Friday, won't play. Forward Cal Clutterbuck will be out for the 15th time in 20 games. Thomas Greiss, who made 24 saves in the win at Montreal, will start. The Islanders are 12-4-2 since Weight took over for Jack Capuano on Jan. 17 and are 7-3-0 in the past 10 games. They own the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Eastern Conference; New York and the Boston Bruins each have 68 points, but the Islanders have played one fewer game. The Islanders were last in the East on Jan. 17; their resurgence has been keyed by the line of Anders Lee, John Tavares and Josh Bailey. "They've had spans where you're going to rip it up, get 12 points in eight games or whatever," Weight told Newsday on Friday. "But just the way they've played, reliable. Not to harp on structure, but what they're doing in the neutral zone, to tracking, to breakouts, they're playing like a bunch of Selke Trophy-ists."
