TRENDING UP

Nathan MacKinnon, COL --After finishing third overall in Yahoo this season with 99 points (41 goals, 58 assists) in 82 regular-season games, MacKinnon had his best postseason yet, scoring 13 points (six goals, seven assists) in 12 games. With elite linemate Mikko Rantanen only 22 years old, MacKinnon belongs among the top five overall for next season. MacKinnon won't need surgery for his shoulder injury and is expected to be ready for training camp.
Mark Stone, VGK -- The Vegas Golden Knights have a new top line with Stone, left wing Max Pacioretty and center Paul Stastny. All three forwards remain under contract past this season, and Stone (12 points in seven games) and Pacioretty (11) led the NHL in scoring over the first round of the playoffs.
Logan Couture, SJS -- The San Jose Sharks center elevated his production again in the postseason, leading the NHL in goals (14) and points (20) through 19 playoff games. Couture, who also excelled in the 2016 (30 in 24 games) and 2018 playoffs (12 in 10 games), rejoins the top 50 for next season but faces the challenge of building upon his NHL career high in points (70 in 81 regular-season games).
Jaden Schwartz, STL -- The St. Louis Blues left wing rejoins the top 100 forwards after a bounce-back postseason, scoring more goals (12 through 18 games) than he did in the regular season (11 in 69 games) and playing on the top line with elite right wing Vladimir Tarasenko. Schwartz has dealt with injuries over the past two regular seasons but had 59 points (24 goals, 35 assists) in 62 games in 2017-18, making him an attractive middle-range option in fantasy drafts for next season.
