Bio

Nikita Kucherov Bio

Kucherov was a second-round pick (No. 58) by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2011 NHL Draft but has played like a first-round talent. He won the Art Ross Trophy as the NHL's top scorer in 2018-19 with 128 points (41 goals, 87 assists), the most in a single season by a player born in Russia, and was voted winner of the Hart and Ted Lindsay trophies.

Though Kucherov got off to a slow start in 2019-20, he ended the season with 85 points (33 goals, 52 assists) in 68 games, then led all scorers during Tampa Bay's run to the Stanley Cup with 34 points (seven goals, 27 assists) in 25 postseason games.
