Goalie Cory Schneider is expected make his seventh straight start for the Devils. Schneider is 5-0-1 in his past six decisions and has not lost in regulation since Dec. 8.

Players to watch

Red Wings forward Henrik Zetterberg's five-game point streak (1-7-8) ended in a 3-1 loss at the Boston Bruins on Dec. 23. He has eight points (goal, seven assists) in his past six games and is three assists from 600 in his NHL career.
Devils forward Brian Boyle has 11 points (seven goals, four assists) in his past 11 games, including a four-game point streak (4-4-8).
