Roberto Luongo left the Panthers' 4-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday with a lower-body injury he sustained on Carolina's first goal with 38 seconds left in the first period. Reimer replaced Luongo and made 26 saves. Panthers coach Bob Boughner said Luongo is day to day. The Panthers have lost four of their past five games. The Blackhawks will look to end an eight-game road losing streak. The Blackhawks haven't won on the road since Oct. 20 when they defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-1. They're wrapping up a three-game road trip that began with 4-2 losses against the Washington Capitals on Wednesday and the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday. Artem Anisimov and Jonathan Toews scored for the Blackhawks, who are 2-8-3 since starting the season 6-2-2.

Toews has three goals and four assists during a six-game point streak, which matches his longest of the season. Panthers forward Troy Brouwer has scored in three consecutive games.
