The forward has been on injured reserve since he tore his Achilles tendon on the first day of training camp on Sept. 13. He hasn't played since April 7, 2018.

Goalie Marcus Hogberg will start for Ottawa, which lost to the Minnesota Wild 4-3 on Saturday. Hogberg is 0-2-1 with a 3.69 goals-against average and an .895 save percentage in three NHL games this season.
