The Toronto Maple Leafs are once again celebrating the spirit of hockey with Leafs Nation Winter Week Powered by Rogers. This year, the club will bring the excitement of the Toronto Maple Leafs to the community with a week full of family-friendly activities.

The week begins with the Sport Chek Open Practice at the former home of the Maple Leafs, Ryerson's Mattamy Athletic Centre on Tuesday starting at noon. Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to watch the full team take to the ice for practice and enjoy giveaways and prizes. Tickets to Sport Chek Open Practice will be available for free on the Maple Leafs app under the Rogers Exclusive section or at leafsnation.mapleleafs.com. In addition, a limited inventory of tickets will be held for walk-up on the day of event at Ryerson's Mattamy Athletic Centre.

Following Open Practice, Leafs fans are invited to Real Sports Bar & Grill for a Leafs Nation Winter Week Viewing Party on Wednesday evening. Fans in attendance will watch the Leafs take on the Columbus Blue Jackets and have the chance to win tickets to that evening's game, autographed jerseys and more.

Winter Week powered by Rogers continues Thursday with an exciting Winter Week Ticket Scavenger Hunt. Each hour from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Leafs will prize away tickets, merchandise and other Leafs swag at select locations all over Toronto. Starting Thursday morning, fans hoping to participate must follow the Maple Leafs on Twitter and Instagram for location clues.

Beginning Friday, the excitement of the Toronto Maple Leafs will travel outside the Greater Toronto Area with three consecutive Leafs Nation Days starting in Guelph on Friday, Barrie on Saturday and concluding in Muskoka on Sunday. Leafs fans in each of these communities can participate in outdoor skating, interact with Leafs Alumni, access giveaways, games, free warm beverages and fun activations such as the Rogers Fan Hub. The Rogers Fan Hub features innovative and interactive experiences including virtual autographs from Toronto Maple Leafs, a hockey-themed Zamboni video game, and augmented reality technology. Leafs fans in Muskoka can also watch Leafs Alumni face off against Canadian Forces Base Borden at Don Lough Arena at Canada Summit Centre.

Winter Week powered by Rogers concludes on Family Day at Air Canada Centre with the Marlies Family Day Game Powered by Rogers. Fans can witness the future of the Leafs face off against the Hershey Bears and the first 7,000 fans in attendance will receive a Marlies rally towel. Tickets can be purchased at marlies.ca.

In addition to the Leafs Nation Winter Week community activities, Rogers will also bring members of the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Association to various retail stores for autograph signings. Rick Vaive, Darcy Tucker and Tomas Kaberle will visit Rogers retail stores in Toronto, Guelph, Barrie and Huntsville. Maple Leafs Announce Additions to Player Development Department

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has named Stéphane Robidas the club's Assistant Director of Player Development and Jack Han the club's Player Development Analyst.

Robidas, a veteran of 937 NHL games, made his NHL debut as a member of the Montreal Canadiens during the 1999-00 season and went on to play 15 seasons in the League, suiting up for the Canadiens, Dallas Stars, Chicago Blackhawks, Anaheim Ducks and Toronto Maple Leafs. He was named an NHL All-Star in 2009 as a member of the Stars. In 2015, Robidas was nominated by the Toronto chapter of the PHWA as the Maple Leafs' nominee for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy as the player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey.
