The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has signed forward Colton Sissons to a two-year contract.
Sissons, 32, appeared in 66 games with the Vegas Golden Knights last season, recording 11 points (six goals, five assists), before adding two goals and six assists in 22 playoff games. The North Vancouver, British Columbia native has skated in 756 career NHL regular season games with Nashville and Vegas, recording 232 points (101 goals, 131 assists). He has appeared in 93 career playoff games between the Predators and Golden Knights, registering 12 goals and 21 assists.
Sissons was originally selected by Nashville in the second round (50th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
