Two straight days of hockey wraps up tonight for the Nashville Predators when they host the New York Islanders (at 7 p.m. CT).
Yesterday, goaltender Pekka Rinne made 43 saves and Craig Smith notched his 100th career goal as the Predators took out the Blackhawks, 2-1, at the United Center. Nashville (5-3-2) is now back in Tennessee for the second half of a back-to-back set of games and their first of two meetings this season with the Islanders (5-4-1). New York dropped their most recent contest, 6-4, to the Minnesota Wild, but had won their previous three.
