Nashville, Tenn. (July 1, 2026) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager Chris MacFarland announced today that the team has signed forward Alexander Kerfoot (KUHR-fuht) to a two-year, $7 million contract.

He recorded a career-high 51 points (13g-28a) in 82 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The forward has tallied 19 points (6g-13a) in 54 career postseason games.

Originally selected by New Jersey in the fifth round (150th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft, Kerfoot owns 305 points (105g-200a) in 639 career games with Colorado, Toronto, Arizona and Utah. Prior to his time in the NHL, he played four seasons (2013-17) at Harvard University. In his senior campaign, he led the team in points with 45 (16g-29a) helping Harvard repeat as Eastern College Athletic Conference champions and was named a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, given to the top player in the NCAA.
