The trade deadline has passed, and the Nashville Predators are back on the road tonight as they begin a four-game trip by facing the Jets in Winnipeg.
The two clubs are jockeying for the Central Division lead and will play each other three more times - including tonight - before the regular season has concluded. Therefore, games like the one this evening could play a large role in determining who ultimately comes away with the division title when all is said and done.
Both teams made an impact during Monday's trade deadline, including a surprising deal from the Jets, acquiring forward Paul Stastny from the St. Louis Blues. Winnipeg also picked up defenseman Joe Morrow, while the Preds acquired forward Ryan Hartman from the Chicago Blackhawks. Hartman is expected to make his Predators debut tonight.
