The Nashville Predators will try to bounce back and conclude their homestand on the right side of the ledger tonight as they host the Florida Panthers at Bridgestone Arena. It's the first of two meetings between the two clubs season; the Preds will travel to Sunrise, Florida, on Feb. 1 as they exit their bye week.
After a convincing 7-2 win over the Capitals on Tuesday night, Nashville dropped a 5-1 decision to the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday in a meeting between the top two teams in the Central Division.
The Preds say they were simply outplayed by their opponents in the meeting, and although they'll have to wait until March for another crack at the Jets, a successful result tonight against the Panthers would still deliver a sense of satisfaction in the final home game of January.
