Sam-Reinhart-16x9

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Sam Reinhart now stands alone.

Striking twice with the man advantage against the Buffalo Sabres on Monday, the skilled sniper became the all-time leader in power-play goals for the Florida Panthers with 85.

Aleksander Barkov ranks second with 84, while Scott Mellanby is third with 66.

Carrying a consistently hot stick ever since he was acquired by the Panthers from the Sabres in July of 2021, Reinhart’s 85 power-play goals are second-most in the NHL in that span.

In each of his first five full seasons with Florida, Reinhart has led the team in power-play goals, including touching the twine a career-high 27 times with the extra attacker in 2023-24.

Closing out their back-to-back on the road, the Panthers will battle the Blue Jackets at 6:15 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
