@AloaBunny: What gets you in the right mindset and ready to play?
I think it's just my routine. I try to stick to the same thing on most game days, whether it's eating the same thing or taking a nap. When I get back to the rink for gametime, there's also another routine that I go through. I just start preparing my stick, preparing my equipment, and getting my body ready.
When it comes to my pre-game meal, I usually go with just some chicken breast, some steak, a lot of vegetables, some rice and some sweet potatoes. Luckily, the team takes care of all that at the rink and I don't have to worry about preparing anything myself. I had to cook a lot when I was in the American Hockey League last year, though.
@Adribrad913: What's your favorite thing to do on the weekend?
We do so much traveling during the season that I don't have a ton of free weekends right now. When we are home, though, there's always so much going on in South Florida. Last weekend, I didn't make it to it, but there was the Honda Classic in West Palm Beach. There was also a tennis tournament in Delray Beach. A couple weeks ago, there was some big volleyball event down at the beach. Like I said, I don't have a lot of free time now, but it's always fun to go to events like that when you can.
There's so much to do down here. It feels like every weekend there's something happening. We actually just missed the Miami Boat Show, which I was really looking forward to. I love boats. I've been out on the water a few times since I moved, but I haven't made it to any boat shows. I'll definitely be buying a wakeboarding boat at some point in the future.
It's so much fun to live down here.
@BrendanR22: Who's the biggest trash talker on the team and who's a trash talker that might surprise people?
I mean Shawn Thornton is probably the loudest guy on the bench. He's definitely good to have around because he makes us feel more comfortable out there, especially when he's doing the stuff that he did last night against Ottawa.
As for an undercover trash talker, it's tough to say… Jussi Jokinen actually gets into it a lot. He's an undercover guy.
@AndrewLevine5: I've seen you singing during warm-ups. What music gets you into game-mode?
Absolutely anything.
Every once in a while, I'll be feeling it and start singing. I don't have anything in particular in my pre-game mix, but I've been listening to the song "Paris" by The Chainsmokers a lot lately. I listen to that in the car on my way to the arena.

@PancakeAshley27: What's your favorite color?
I guess it's blue.
When I was younger I painted my room blue. It was one of my team colors growing up. Of all the different shades of blue, I'd definitely put navy at the top of my list.
@saaammie: Do you collect anything? If so, what do you collect?
I'm actually not a very big collector.
I've been moving around a lot over the last six or seven years, so I haven't really had any room to collect anything. I don't have anything like hockey pucks or sticks lying around, but maybe I will at some point in the future.
@WilliPr527: What are you birthday plans?
Absolutely nothing.
All I have planned is practice, so we'll see how the rest of the day goes.
I have a gift from my girlfriend, but I don't know what it is. It arrived a few days ago, but I'm not allowed to open it until today. I have no idea what it could be.
Thanks for your questions and keep them coming!
