REMAX ONLINE 5050 - 1920x1080

EDMONTON, AB - With the exciting recent changes to raffle rules in Alberta, the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation's 50/50 draw, presented by RE/MAX, is now available online.

Beginning on Saturday, Aug. 1, and for each of the subsequent Oilers games during the Stanley Cup Qualifiers and Stanley Cup Playoffs, the online 50/50 raffle (AGLC #563604) will give fans throughout Alberta the chance to win the 50/50 jackpot while supporting the EOCF.

Oilers 50/50 jackpots at Rogers Place have historically been some of the largest in the NHL, typically reaching anywhere from $50,000 to more than $100,000 per game. The average 50/50 jackpot at Oilers games during the 2019-20 season was a take-home prize of $87,688.

The largest jackpot this season was on New Year's Eve against the New York Rangers when the prize reached $255,817.50. The largest jackpot in Oilers franchise history was $336,995 on April 12, 2017, during the first-ever playoff game at Rogers Place.

Purchasing an online 50/50 ticket is a simple process, similar to most online purchases. Ticket sales open at 9:00 AM MST on Oilers game days and end at 10:30 PM MST on the same day. For the Aug. 1 game that begins at 1:00 PM MST, fans will still be able to purchase online 50/50 tickets until the 10:30 PM MST deadline.

Tickets can be purchased by individuals 18 years or older located within Alberta's provincial borders. All ticket sales are final and ticket buyers will receive a receipt via email a few minutes after purchasing that will list all numbers associated with the purchased tickets.

Fans can go to EdmontonOilers.com/5050 and select from the following four ticket pack options:

The winning ticket number will be posted on EdmontonOilers.com/5050 no later than 11:30 PM MST on the Oilers game day.

Funds from the 50/50 program are split evenly between the winner and the EOCF. The Foundation in turn re-invests the net proceeds back into community initiatives to support orgniazations that focus their efforts on education, health and wellness, and hockey programming for youth.
