Oilers Hockey Clinic presented by ATCO in Yellowknife 2026

The Oilers Hockey Clinic presented by ATCO is a free, community-focused program bringing elite hockey training and inspiration to youth in rural communities across Oil Country. This season, we are proud to visit Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.

From February 18-20, 2026, the Yellowknife Multiplex will host a free three-day clinic featuring on-ice instruction from Oilers Alumni and professional coaches, along with off-ice sessions led by experts in dryland training, wellness, yoga, and stretching.

New this year, we are introducing a dedicated all-girls on-ice session led by a female hockey instructor, empowering young athletes and supporting the continued growth of girls in hockey.

The clinic is designed for minor hockey players ages 7-13 who are confident skaters and have foundational hockey experience.

Registration is now closed and thank you for taking an interest in the Oilers Hockey Clinic in Yellowknife. Selected players will be contacted shortly through email.

2025 Oilers Hockey Clinic Recap

From May 2–4, 2025, the town of Jasper, Alberta played host to the 2025 Oilers Hockey Clinic presented by ATCO. This unforgettable weekend brought the community together as local youth hockey players had the exciting opportunity to connect with Oilers and NHL Alumni Kris Russell and Chris Dingman at the Community Kickoff BBQ. Throughout the clinic, participants took part in elite on-ice training sessions led by Alumni and Edmonton Oil Kings players. Off the ice, they engaged in yoga and stretching, dryland training, and wellness workshops designed to support their growth both as athletes and individuals.

A huge thank you to the Jasper community for your incredible hospitality and support in making this Oilers Hockey Clinic presented by ATCO a true success!
