Monday was a big night in the Maroon family as Pat Maroon scored a huge goal in the third period to tie the game for the Oilers in his hometown, setting the stage for Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to convert in overtime.
After the game, Sportsnet's Gene Principe asked Maroon about scoring the goal in front of his family, including his son Anthony.
"It's pretty cool. It's pretty emotional. I don't get to see him as much. It's pretty special," Maroon said as he broke down into tears during the live interview.
