It will be Comrie's first start since Nov. 19. ... Pionk is eligible to return from a two-game suspension for a knee-on-knee hit on Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Rasmus Sandin on Sunday but the defenseman remains out after being kneed later in that game by forward Jason Spezza, who was suspended six games. … Canucks coach Bruce Boudreau said Ekman-Larsson, a defenseman, is expected back next week but top-pair defenseman Hamonic, who sustained a lower-body injury in a 2-1 shootout win against the Boston Bruins on Wednesday, will be out 2-3 weeks.
