Miller, who spent the past three seasons with the Canucks, signed a two-year contract with the Ducks on July 1. He made nine saves on 10 shots replacing John Gibson (upper body) in the third period of a 4-3 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday.
Defenseman Alexander Edler will return to the lineup for the Canucks after missing the past 12 games with a knee injury. The 12-year veteran will replace Chris Tanev, who will miss the final three games of the road trip with an upper-body injury.
Vancouver has won four straight on the road and is 5-1-0 away from Rogers Arena. The Ducks are 0-2-2 in their past four games and haven't lost five in a row since Oct. 22-29, 2015.

Vancouver forward Brock Boeser has eight points (three goals, five assists) in the past five games.
Miller will make his third start of the season for Anaheim. He's 1-0-2 with a 2.13 goals-against average and .946 save percentage.
