David and Hiliary Whitt will be celebrating their anniversary in Predators style.
Married for 25 years, the couple commemorated their anniversary with the custom-painted Nissan "Predzilla" GT-R. With a winning bid of $113,000, the couple receives not only the one-of-a-kind car, but also the opportunity to donate to the Nashville Predators Foundation.
Originally from Brentwood, Tennessee, the couple excitedly followed the Predators all the way to the Stanley Cup Final. After moving to Richmond, Virginia, the Whitts continued to cheer on the team when they heard about the unique auction opportunity.

"David had a 2012 GT-R that he sold when we moved back to Virginia, so as soon as he saw it he forwarded it to me. I love to follow the Predators. I love Pekka," said Hiliary Whit, showing off her No. 35 jersey.
What does the couple plan to do with the car? "Going around, grocery shopping and joy-riding," Hiliary joked.

The custom-painted GT-R was donated by Nissan to the Nashville Predators Foundation for auction. The car, worth more than $100,000, is the largest donation to the Predators Foundation to date. Nissan chose the donation based on the success of last year's team, but its main goal was to raise money for the Predators Foundation.
"Ultimately, it's the Foundation," Nissan Vice President of Corporate Services Brian Delauter said. "Regardless of the amount of money or what's involved in it, (this opportunity) is really about what it's going to and what it's going to serve. That's really the motivation here."
The Whitts' first trip with Predzilla will be driving the car back to their home in Richmond, spreading Predators pride past the Nashville city limits.
