Vegas, coming off a 5-3 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday that ended their 11-game winning streak, is playing the last game of a five-game homestand.

Gage Quinney will make his NHL debut for Vegas. Quinney, a forward born in Las Vegas, will become the first Nevada-born player to play in the NHL after being recalled from Chicago of the American Hockey League on Friday.
Florida, 3-6-1 in its past 10 games, trails the Toronto Maple Leafs by two points for third place in the Atlantic Division, and the Columbus Blue Jackets by three points for the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Eastern Conference.
