The Bruins are six points ahead of the Toronto Maple Leafs with four games to go in the regular season. Boston lost 4-1 to the Florida Panthers on Saturday, their second loss in the past three games.
The Red Wings have won four in a row, matching their longest streak of the season, and six of seven. They defeated the New Jersey Devils 4-0 on Friday, helped by a goal and two assists by Tyler Bertuzzi.

Players to watch

Boston center Patrice Bergeron has 12 points (six goals, six assists) in his past seven games and 21 points (11 goals, 10 assists) in his past 16 games.
Detroit centers Dylan Larkin and Andreas Athanasiou each reached the 30-goal mark this week. They are the first Red Wings to reach the mark since four players did it in the 2008-09 season.
