The Sedin twins announced Monday they will retire, ending their NHL careers after 17 seasons with the Canucks. They will play their final game on the road against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday. Vancouver is 5-1-1 in its past seven games after losing the previous seven in regulation; Arizona is 4-1-0 in its past five games and 11-6-1 in its past 18. The Canucks and Coyotes have each been eliminated from Stanley Cup Playoff contention.

Coyotes rookie forward Clayton Keller has points in 12 of his past 13 games (five goals, 11 assists). Henrik Sedin leads the Canucks in games played (1,328), points (1,068) and assists (828), and Daniel is second in games played (1,304), points (1,039) and assists (648), and first in goals (391).

Chychrun sustained a season-ending injury during a 4-1 victory against the Calgary Flames on Tuesday. Mermis was called up from Tucson of the American Hockey League to take his spot. ...
