Bio

Josh Archibald Bio

Archibald was among a host of players who stepped in and played small but important roles for the Pittsburgh Penguins in their second straight run to the Stanley Cup in 2017.

The son of former Minnesota North Stars forward Jim Archibald was a star at Brainerd High School in Minnesota and a finalist for the Minnesota Mr. Hockey Award in 2011. He played three seasons at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where he scored 29 goals as a junior in 2013-14 and had two assists in six games for the United States at the 2012 IIHF World Junior Championship.
