The Carolina Hurricanes today announced plans to host a Stanley Cup Playoffs Send Off outside PNC Arena on Sunday, July 26.

Buses transporting the team to Raleigh-Durham International Airport are scheduled to depart from PNC Arena's north parking lots at 5:30 p.m. The Canes will then make their way to Toronto for
Phase 4 of the NHL's Return to Play plan

While remaining in their vehicles, fans will be able to support and cheer on the Canes as they leave the arena. Please enter the property via the Edwards Mill Road entrance. Cars will then be directed to first park alongside Peter Karmanos Jr. Drive, lining the road with a safe distance between each car. Overflow parking will be made available in the in the portions of the 3000, 4000 and 5000 lots closest to Peter Karmanos Jr. Drive.

In order to ensure physical distancing safety measures and recommended medical guidelines, all fans attending must remain in their vehicles throughout the event. Fans will be directed to park safely distanced from one another, and no tailgating is permitted. No restrooms will be available for use, and masks are highly encouraged to be worn.
Fans can begin arriving as early as 4:30 p.m. on Sunday and are recommended to arrive no later than 5:15 p.m. Once buses have departed, arena representatives will help direct traffic egress to help fans exit PNC Arena in a timely and efficient fashion.
Fans are highly encouraged to show their Canes pride with signs, flags, cheering and horn honking. Gear up, arrive early and get loud!
