RALEIGH, NC. -Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has reassigned forward Jack Drury to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Drury, 22, has tallied three points (1g, 2a) in eight AHL games with Chicago in 2022-23. He has posted 55 points (21g, 34a) in 76 career AHL games and added 24 points (9g, 15a) in 18 playoff games last season as Chicago won the 2022 Calder Cup. The 5'11", 184-pound forward recorded a point in 16 of 18 games during the postseason and finished tied for third in points among all AHL skaters. Drury has registered two assists in 21 NHL games with Carolina this season, and he has now earned four points (2g, 2a) in 23 career NHL games with the Hurricanes. The New York, N.Y., native has represented the United States at numerous international tournaments, winning a silver medal at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship and a bronze medal at the 2021 IIHF World Championship. Drury was selected by Carolina in the second round, 42nd overall, of the 2018 NHL Draft.
