The Nashville Predators complete a three-game set against the Eastern Conference in their final game before the NHL All-Star Break when they visit the New Jersey Devils (tonight at 6 p.m. CT).
The Preds (28-11-7) fell in overtime, 4-3, to the Tampa Bay Lightning in their most recent contest. The post-regulation loss extended Nashville's point streak to seven games and gave the Preds a 4-0-1 record in their five-game home stand. In roster news, winger Filip Forsberg remains on Injured Reserve but has resumed skating with the team.
New Jersey (24-15-8) sits second in the Metropolitan Division despite dropping three consecutive games. Tonight, the Devils are expected to be without leading-scorer Taylor Hall and goaltender Cory Schneider due to injury.
