The Nashville Predators conclude their season series with the Los Angeles Kings tonight (at 9:30 p.m. CT).
Nashville (32-24-10) earned a point in a shootout loss to Anaheim on Tuesday, but are winless in their last three after recording a four-game winning streak. Tonight's contest at Staples Center marks stop No. 2 for a Preds team that is making a three-game swing up the California coast.
After holding off-ice meetings and workouts on Wednesday, the Preds took part in a full morning skate on Thursday. Forward P.A. Parenteau (upper-body injury) participated in full during the session, but Vernon Fiddler was not on the ice.
Los Angeles (31-28-6) is coming off another scheduling oddity. The Kings have not played in four days, their last game being a 4-3 loss to the Canucks on Saturday. L.A. has won both meetings with Nashville to this point, claiming a 3-2 win in overtime on Oct. 27 and a 4-0 triumph in Nashville on Dec. 22.
Below is Nashville's projected lineup based on Thursday's morning skate:
Filip Forsberg - Ryan Johansen - Viktor Arvidsson
Kevin Fiala - Mike Fisher - Craig Smith
Colin Wilson - Calle Jarnkrok - James Neal
Cody McLeod - Colton Sissons - Austin Watson
Roman Josi - Ryan Ellis
Mattias Ekholm - P.K. Subban
Anthony Bitetto - Matt Irwin
Note: The Predators have not announced a starting goaltender for tonight's game
