How to Watch, Live Stream Flames vs. Preds

After going two-for-two in New York City to start the new season, the Nashville Predators return to Tennessee to open their home slate tonight - a meeting with the Calgary Flames at Bridgestone Arena.
It's the first of three outings between the clubs this season; Nashville will visit Calgary twice before the New Year to conclude the season series.
Prior to this evening's contest, the Preds will raise three more banners to the rafters to commemorate their success during the 2017-18 campaign. While the group will appreciate the moment to reflect on the past, the banners will also serve as a reminder of what's still to come.

"Last year, we did a lot of good things, and with that came some real positives," Preds Head Coach Peter Laviolette said. "We said it all along, that we were moving and trying to get to a point where we get to the end that we're looking for. We haven't gotten there yet, but there's been some good things and some things we can do better. Tonight, they'll recognize a couple of the good things, so that's a positive for this group. But, once that's over, we've got to drop the puck and go back to work."
After a day off on Sunday, the Preds were back on the ice Monday with Kevin Fiala returning to the second line right wing alongside Kyle Turris and Craig Smith. Fiala skated on the fourth line during Saturday's win against the Islanders, with Calle Jarnkrok taking his spot on the second unit, but Laviolette added that move was more about Jarnkrok deserving a chance in the top six, as opposed to Fiala's play.
Jarnkrok was on the third line during Monday's session with Nick Bonino and Ryan Hartman.

Last Time Out:
Viktor Arvidsson scored twice as the Preds posted a 4-3 win over the New York Islanders on Saturday night. Mattias Ekholm and Craig Smith also tallied in the contest, while Juuse Saros made 26 saves to earn the win.
Through two games, Ekholm and P.K. Subban are tied for the team lead in scoring with three points apiece, while Arvidsson, Smith, Filip Forsberg, Colton Sissons, Kyle Turris and Ryan Ellis all have two points to their name.

The Opposition:
The Flames are 1-1-0 on the young season, splitting an opening set with Vancouver, including a 7-4 Calgary win on Saturday. Matthew Tkachuk has five points through just two games, followed by Johnny Gaudreau with four. Elias Lindholm and Sean Monahan have two goals apiece.
Former Preds winger James Neal signed a five-year deal with the Flames in the offseason after skating with the Vegas Golden Knights in 2017-18.
All-Time Meetings:
Nashville is 33-23-(4)-11 all-time against Calgary, including a 19-11-(1)-6 record at Bridgestone Arena. In the previous nine meetings between the two clubs, Nashville is 4-1-4. The Preds have only lost once to the Flames in regulation since March 29, 2015, and have picked up at least one point in 18 of their last 23 games. At home, Nashville has earned a point in 12 of their last 14 (6-2-6) games vs. Calgary.

Notables vs. CGY:
Filip Forsberg recorded the first of his back-to-back hat tricks on Feb. 21, 2017, versus Calgary. He has eight points (6g-2a) in 13 career games against the Flames. Roman Josi has two goals and 14 assists in 19 career games vs. Calgary, while Kyle Turris has 13 points (5g-8a) in 17 career meetings with the Flames.

The Opening Night party begins at 3 p.m. CT when the Bridgestone Arena plaza opens. The annual Gold Walk, featuring Preds players, coaches and personalities, begins at 4 p.m. on the plaza, and arena doors will open as the Gold Walk concludes, approximately 5 p.m.
All fans in attendance will receive a replica 2017-18 Presidents' Trophy banner, and fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:45 p.m. to enjoy all the pregame festivities of the home opener, which is presented by Nissan.
