The Predators face elimination as they take on the Stars in Game 6 in Dallas looking to force a Game 7 (tonight at 7:30 p.m. CT).
Nashville got forward Brian Boyle back in the lineup for Game 5, after he missed Games 2 through 4, but the Preds fell 5-3 to the Stars. Last postseason, the Predators lost Game 5 on home ice and were able to win in Winnipeg in Game 6 to force a winner-take-all Game 7.
"It's hard to put the disappointment of [Game 5] behind you, but we need to find a way to do it," Preds defenseman Dan Hamhuis said. "We have to learn from it, and build a good mindset going into [tonight's] game. I think playoff experience certainly helps in order to do that."
The Preds held a full morning skate on Monday at American Airlines Center and were joined by Wayne Simmonds (lower-body). Below is a Predators projected lineup based on the session:
